Infineon Technologies AG (FSE code: IFX / OTCQX code: IFNNY) launched at the 2022 Munich International Electronic Components Fair for industrial drives, electric vehicle (EV) charging, electric two-wheelers, robots and other advanced industrial-grade Applied XMC7000 series microcontrollers (MCU). The XMC7000 family of microcontrollers includes single-core and dual-core products based on the 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M7 processor clocked at up to 350-MHz and paired with the 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M0+ processor clocked at 100-MHz Supported and configured with up to 8MB of embedded flash memory and 1MB of on-chip static random access memory (SRAM). This family of microcontrollers operates from a voltage range of 2.7 to 5.5 V and supports an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.

The new XMC7100 and XMC7200 products of Infineon's XMC7000 series microcontrollers further enrich the lineup of XMC series microcontrollers for industrial control. Infineon XMC7100 is equipped with 4MB flash memory, 768 kB RAM, and is divided into two versions of 250 MHz single-core or dual-core, using 100, 144 or 176-pin QFP package or 272-pin BGA package. Infineon XMC7200 is equipped with 8 MB flash memory, 1 MB RAM, and is divided into 350 MHz single-core or dual-core two versions, using a 176-pin QFP package or a 272-pin BGA package.

The XMC7000 has great flexibility and is divided into four packages and pin types, with a total of 17 product models to meet various types of design requirements.


The XMC7000 series microcontrollers are compatible with Infineon's latest ModusToolbox™ 3.0 development platform, bringing developers a unique development experience to create various use cases for industrial applications, robotics, electric vehicle charging and more.
