Kyung Mun, principal analyst at Mobile Experts, Inc., said: "As the first phase of large-scale 'crazy' deployment of 5G fades in developed markets such as North America, operators are shifting their focus to the second phase, which utilizes cell towers. Network densification enabled by small cells and small cells. Mobile Experts predicts a 9% CAGR for 5G small cells over the next five years. The QPQ3509 filter covers the 5G frequency band from 3.7-3.98GHz in a compact 2.0mm×1.6mm package for base station applications. Low insertion loss combined with high out-of-band attenuation make this filter an excellent choice for 5G C-band applications. Additionally, the QPQ3509 is part of Qorvo's broad portfolio of RF BAW and Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) filters.
As a wideband, single-channel switch LNA module, the QPB9850 integrates a 2-stage LNA that provides functionality across 2.3-5GHz to support various 5G frequency bands including n41, n77, n78, and n79. A high power handling switch can be used to protect the LNA while shutting down the LNA power supply when the radio is in transmit mode. The QPB9850 provides 34dB of gain at 3.6GHz with 1.1dB noise figure and high linearity of 31dBm OIP3. The QPB9850 is housed in a highly compact RoHS-compliant 3mm×3mm LGA package.
