TDK Corporation (TSE:6762) announces the new KCZ1210DH800HRTD25 common mode filter (1.25 x 1.0 x 0.5 ㎜ - L x W x H) for ultra-high-speed automotive interfaces. Mass production of this product will begin in March 2023.
This product is a new member of the KCZ1210DH series launched in February 2022. Compared with conventional filters, the noise control function of this product has been significantly improved, the impedance at 1㎓ is 1000 Ω, and the insertion loss exceeds 25 dB. As the application of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) continues to expand, the signal processing speed has also increased significantly. Through this, safer and more reliable autonomous driving will be achieved. This new filter from TDK helps prevent errors related to front-sensing cameras, mmWave radar, LiDAR (light radar), etc., from occurring during high-speed signal processing.
Utilizing TDK's proprietary internal electrode pattern arrangement and integrated sintered configuration technology of the best low-k materials, this product achieves excellent performance and long-term stability. This product reduces the risk of cracks (due to thermal shock) by adding a conductive resin base layer to the terminal electrodes. Not only that, but this product has enhanced durability against mechanical stress, such as substrate strain.
The KCZ1210DH800HRTD25 common mode filter for automotive has a compact design measuring only 1.25㎜ x 1.0㎜ x 0.5㎜. The supported operating temperature range is -55°C~+125°C.
TDK offers a diverse portfolio of laminated automotive products, including chip beads that can be used at temperatures up to 150°C and common mode filters for reducing radiated noise during high-speed differential transmission.
